Big Personal Update - I Left Maersk 🚢

I stopped at Maersk last week. My role and my team were impacted as part of a major reorg, and I'm moving on. I posted a video on the experience on LinkedIn.

I worked in Maersk for an incredible ten years. It's crazy, but over this time:

• I did Strategic Sourcing - Which took me to negotiate hands-on close to 1 billion in contracts, and do it around the world - in China, in Dubai, in Panama, in US.
• I did Category Management - Building, from the ground up, the biggest logistics category in procurement - $6 billion or so in spend now
• AND, most recently, leading Procurement Excellence - a team of 15+ people across the whole world, where we built a full operating model, drove 9 major end-to-end transformations and pioneered autonomous negotiations.

Now I'm looking to lead the next transformation — in procurement, digital operations, process excellence.

10X Productivity - The AI Advantage 🤖

Maersk-included, I have never - ever - been as productive as the past ~3 months. It has been borderline surreal:

• Filmed ~20 YouTube Videos
• Built Penguin Sensei, my first iPhone app
• Launched ZooStack, an end-to-end sales tool that combines forms, calendars, surveys, testimonials, checkouts and basically automates my business - and all are themed with an animal e.g., 🐼 Checkout Panda
• In Maersk, I launch multiple big transformation programs simultaneously

… and all while sleeping my eight hours, clocking 50+ workouts in 2026 so far, and still picking up at the kids around 3.30pm.

(Even won Gold in every Mario Kart World Knockout Tour 🏎️)

And I don’t think I’m special. I don’t think I’m especially smart. I still chill a lot.

It's really transforming mine. I'm automating and elevating EVERYTHING. It's so wild I had to make a video to show you:

Highlights, if you prefer to read:

• Coding & Developing - I built Penguin Sensei and ZooStack without writing a single line of code. I don't even know how to code. (I also updated and launched my new website, guides, including the cost model I told you above.)
• YouTube Automation - I've a fully automated flow for the "Denmark in the News Videos" - Every Thursday, I get directly in my Notion a script written (in my voice, with my own anecdotes) that summarizes the top five news in Denmark for the week.
• Accounting Automation - I built an agent that automates my end-to-end accounting flow in the app Dinero. It gets a feed from my bank account, takes invoices from Google Drive and then via API does the postings and reconciliations in Dinero all automatically.

.... plus A LOT more, and I did all that while I was working full-time.

Now I've a lot more time to play with this, so watch out: I'm committed to be and stay in the 0.1% most advanced on AI in the planet.

Seriously. I strongly believe there's no bigger opportunity in the world right now as it is to really leverage AI while most of the world is still thinking ChatGPT == Google Replacement or posting (dumb) coping posts on LinkedIn.

The World Tour Update 🇸🇹

We keep taking the kids round-the-world:

• 🇨🇳 - Spent the Christmas Break in ”Deep” China. We checked Xian, Chengdu, Chongqing, Yangshuo and Shanghai.
• 🇳🇴 - Chased the Northern Lights in Trømso, staying in a nice cabin in Kvaløya.
• 🇸🇹 - For Easter, going to Portugal, Angola and Sao Tome (Countries #144 and #145 for me) -- first-time in West Africa for the kids (== Yellow Fever Vaccine, Malaria Pills).

[[tip]] ✈️ In case you didn't know: EU Countries (and many others) can now visit China visa-free for 30 days. And China is amazing. It's full of things to see, very safe, cheap, people are super friendly and you can do everything from your phone. IMO 2026 is a perfect time to visit. [[/tip]]

Also - AI for Kids - My friend Roxane wrote a detailed guide on how to use AI with your kids. It has great ideas, like making tailored books (in PPT format) for your kids to learn to read. (My kids love the songs I made for them about them using Suno AI.)
