New on YouTube 🎥

I was off YouTube for three months. Bummer, and explained by two things - a) we moved, and b) I got hooked coding.

I underestimated the move. It’s stressful to move, but I also made it tough for myself by over-thinking everything - painting, lightning, furniture, decor, tech. It just drained me. We’ve nice color walls now lol, but it was too much all at the same time.

I had a little burn-out between all that, plus coding, plus big kid starting school, plus busy period at work. Had to lean back a bit 😅.

My Apartment Sale Experience 💵

The real estate market in Copenhagen is absolutely nuts. There’s a lot on that coming to my YouTube, but in the meantime I shot a video about my experience selling our flat:

TL;DR - It’s crucial that as a property seller you understand — and position yourself to influence! - everyone’s incentives. Then, choose your buyers carefully (lol). We sold our apartment to a couple who were both lawyers and (predictably) it became a pain in the ass 😛.

The Edge of AI - My Vibe Coding Adventure 🤖

I got reaaaally hooked with AI Coding (“vibe coding”) through the summer. It’s absolutely incredible. It’s an immense opportunity.

I built full, beautiful and amazing apps in just a couple days — and with basic (almost zero) coding background.

It’s so incredible that the moment I got a hang of the tools (and there’s a bit of a learning curve), I literally stopped everything else and just coded.

I didn’t sleep for like a week. I got my wife very upset. I got a serious warning at work. You can see I also stopped publishing videos lol 🙈.

That's just a teaser. I've also been building Parrot Help, Checkout Panda, and if you've signed up to my email list in the last few weeks you'll likely have seen the surveys from Segment Fox. (Yep, all the apps are animal-themed 🦁).

I'll be making a video about some of those projects soon.

Can you do everything with AI? No. But can you do 90% of everything you ever wanted to build? Yes – and this is the worst the tech is ever going to be.

The Existential Crisis 🤯

I’d already automated a lot of my YouTube work to AI - from research, to scripting, to thumbnails. But this is next-level.

Elon just told Joe Rogan that anything digital — “someone at a computer doing something” — will be taken over by AI “like lightning”. Timeline? 5-6 years. Sam Altman (OpenAI CEO) and all those guys think the same.

According to Elon, it’s only “people doing something physical” like carpentry that won’t be fully automated yet. (That's for when the Optimus robots are ready).

It’s going to be a wild world.

In the meantime, in the next 1-2 years (at least), my hunch is that - until the rest of the world really wakes up to it - if you’re an insider and early adopter to these tools and technologies you can build a massive advantage.

If you’re thinking this is all doom/gloom and don’t think this is so big, please try the frontier models - ChatGPT Pro, Claude 4.5, Gemini 3. Even the new Grok 4.1 is insane. The space is moving faster than you can imagine.

We’re still early. The people and organizations that aggressively use these tools (and other parts of the AI ecosystem) will just make circles around those that don’t.

The AI Coding Blueprint 🫥

If you - like me - have a creative spirit but never got to really learn code, this is the golden time. This is the toolkit I recommend you to start:
- Lovable - Use it to build your first prototypes/concepts in minutes.
- Claude Artifacts - Same. You can build a proof of concept interface in just a few minutes and have sharable links.
- Claude Code and ChatGPT Codex (and Gemini as of this week)- This is what I use, hosting with Vercel with Neon databases. The moment you want to do something more advanced (a real app), these two are the way to go. You’ll need to learn about Github, deployments, databases … but you can pick all that up in a handful of days.

There are thousands of tutorials of everything on YouTube.

End Year Travel Updates ☀️

I went to Senegal and Gambia (Countries #142 and #143) in late June but else stayed put until just a few weeks back. We can blame the move and the new and higher mortgage payments 😱.

Still, now back on the move. I was with the family in New York for the efterårsferie, going to the Caribbean for a sunshine break next week and will do Christmas and New Years break traveling around “deep” China 🐲.
