I’ve also updated my Housing Guide and Summer Houses Guide on the site as well.

There’s more good stuff coming up. I also agreed with the agents selling my place that we would do a tour of a top-tier fancy place (15-20m+ kr) over the coming weeks 😀.

Ultra Productivity - Back to Basics 📜

I keep talking about productivity, but objectively speaking I wasn’t good in January to April. In short: I was, for multiple reasons, just not doing enough hours of focused work - i.e., blocking exclusive periods of time to produce things.

SO - I’m back to basics:
- Waking up a bit earlier (5.30am-ish average), working for ~60 mins before the kids wake up on my number one most important project.
- Deciding the project and deliverables a week ahead, and the specifics the night before - so I can hit the ground running immediately.
- Stopping everything else in that morning period - no Duolingo/Wanikani, no email, no browsing, nada.
- Tracking the time focused in Toggl - “what gets measured gets managed”.

I’m also taking the same approach at work. While I’ve an ever-growing pile of stuff to work on, I’m blocking 1-2 hours per day to build and produce things.

There’s really no “secret” to productivity. There are a lot of gimmicks and tools and tricks, but if you want to move the needle what you need to do is just put in focused hours on the most important work and block out everything else.

It has worked well - and can proudly share that, at least from my business side, in the last month:
- My new site is up, including updated guides on buying a house and investing, and new content as the summer house piece
- Updated Dream Home Denmark with an hour worth of new content basis my experience buying my new place
- Launched an AI in 2025 Guide for The Accelerator Vault
- Built a good YouTube pipeline for the first time this year

… all in a context of being extremely busy in my day job. So all the above is done on a few hours a week of intense focus. Work is going good, won’t bore you with details here 😀

(Next up is the update to my Investing Course. I expect that to be done in the coming 1-2 weeks.)

Ultra Productivity - Leveraging AI 🤖

I’ve been helped big time by AI. It’s like having a full-time researcher and developer always there for you. I’ll share some specific use cases:

The Mundane - I’ve been using AI as script writer and researcher for a year plus now. I had no idea about e.g., summer houses, and it took 2-3 hours for me to put together an ultimate guide. I get AI to do 80% of the work and I always add my own personal take and examples. (Personal content is the only way to differentiate these days.)

Models: I use Gemini 2.5 Pro and ChatGPT as researchers, and (still) find Claude 4 the best model writing in my voice (trained with tons of my own content).

Fancier - I’ve switched my Japanese learning from Duolingo to Wanikani + Bunpro. (It’s just a better setup for Japanese.) I’m a visual guy (I noticed, lol) and I started to make mnemonic images with ChatGPT to remember kanjis (the symbols) basis their radicals. It looks dumb but it’s insanely effective for memory recall. I’m now vibe coding an app to have a nice interface to access all these mnemonics.

Models: ChatGPT for the images, Cursor for the development of the app.

Top Tier - I’m leveraging AI to build an automated and integrated ‘Operating System’, including:
- Uploading all types of metrics (YouTube analytics, my health data) to give me high-leverage recommendations to prioritize what I do next.
- Coding data tables for Obsidian to track Lights (habits), Workouts and integrate all my metrics.
- Guiding me step-by-step to setup a NAS (like an external storage on steroids) with media server and automations and outside-of-home access and VPN tunnels - complicated stuff that before I just couldn’t do myself.

Plus… I use the ChatGPT Advanced Voice Mode for conversations every day. It’s like having someone with all of humanity’s knowledge in your pocket and ready to speak to you about anything.

What a time to be alive. I made a 30 min video getting into more depth on all this and showing the workflows, accessible in the Accelerator Vault.

Travel Updates - Recommendations for Spring in Copenhagen ☀️

We’re moving in August, and hitting the brakes on any big trips as we need as much cash as we can to get the big ticket items sorted. So we’ve plans to do Sjaelland-based attractions (or Denmark-based) as much as we can. Including:

- Knuthenborg Safaripark - We visited this one for the first time a few weeks back. It’s very cool! It’s the largest safari park in Northern Europe and has a ton of animals, much better than a zoo experience, has a real dinosaur museum (with a real t-rex!) and the playground is enormous. It was a huge hit with my kids.

- Tram Museum - This one is my kids’ favorite place. We’ve been like 5-6 times already and can’t recommend it enough if your kids are into trains and trams. Link.

- Crocodile Land - We went here last weekend - also a huge hit with the kids. Has a ton of crocodiles, big tortoises, pumas and a lot more. Recommended!

We don’t have a car but we’ve been renting through GoMore. Sometimes I get tempted to actually buy or lease a car but the cost is 🤯.

That said, I’ve an exciting trip planned as I’m going with Maersk to Senegal and doing a side trip on my own to Gambia. That would be my countries #142 and #143, and my first time in West Africa. I look forward!

Last on trips, I had a lot of people asking me for travel insurance recommendations, so I’ve moving forward partnered with Europæisk ERV. I’ve used their insurance for years and it has always worked well and with prompt support.

...and that's it! Thanks for reading and I hope you too have a phenomenal summer. I've lots more coming up and look forward to sharing with you!

Cheers,

Mario
